Gillian Reid – Morningside Edinburgh
Gillian started taking driving lessons in Edinburgh late 2014. On our first driving lesson we learnt the basic control skills in a housing estate just off Morningside road and not before too long we were taking on Morningside road and dealing with everything it had to offer! Gillian learnt fast and each week we progressed onto the next new challenge. Gillian told me during driving lessons that her sister had passed first time with only one driving fault in Edinburgh. We were aiming to beat this which was going to be extremely difficult but I had every confidence in Gillian. Test day came Gillian had booked her driving test in the Currie test centre in Edinburgh at 1243. When she returned from her driving test the driving examiner revealed that she had passed, first time and in the final 5 minutes picked up 1 driving fault! So close but at least she equaled her sister. Well done Gillian.
