Laura – West Linton
Laura was really excited about driving and had saved up and bought her own car. She began driving lessons at the end of the summer of 2014, we started driving lessons in Peebles working through the different skills involved with driving. This included fine-tuning the clutch control so the car really started to do the things that you wanted it to do. not long after starting. Laura passed her theory test. When we went to book a practical driving test, Laura brought the Peebles driving waiting list up and found that the test waiting list was extremely long! This is usually the case with Peebles as it has a part-time test centre, the driving tests usually only take place one day per week.
We both decided that we should sit the test in Edinburgh. The next few driving lessons we did were in the Currie area of Edinburgh where we looked at some of the awkward bits of the road where local knowledge would help. Laura sat her driving test in November and passed first time with compliments from the examiner!
