Angus’ Road to Independence
Angus, from Penicuik, started his driving journey with zero experience. His mum, following a recommendation, reached out to schedule lessons that worked around his busy school schedule at George Heriot’s. We agreed on early morning sessions, starting at his home in Penicuik and finishing at school in Edinburgh.
From day one, Angus approached his lessons with determination and positivity. By the second lesson, he was already driving from his house. After weeks of progress, we conducted a mock driving test to identify areas for improvement. With a clear plan and additional practice in his mum’s automatic car, Angus built confidence and skill.
Despite a rugby injury causing a slight delay, Angus remained focused. On the day of his test at the Currie centre, he showed up prepared and passed on his first attempt!
Well done, Angus—you’ve earned your freedom on the roads!
