From Beginner to License Holder – Navigating the Roads of Edinburgh
Following in the footsteps of her sister Rowetta, Colleen embarked on her driving journey with a flexible schedule, eager to obtain her license. Starting from scratch, our first lesson at the Braids just along from Buckstone provided a solid foundation, covering basics and foundational skills. Colleen’s quick progress during the summer was evident, and as fall approached, she entered university, scheduling Friday morning lessons around her timetable at Edinburgh University’s Kings Buildings.
Weekly sessions saw remarkable improvements, with mock tests showcasing Colleen’s growing consistency. She secured a January driving test, adjusting our lessons closer to the date. In the final sessions, her driving displayed remarkable skill and consistency.
On a chilly morning in Buckstone, we headed to the test area. Despite freezing temperatures, the roads were manageable. Colleen’s driving test proceeded smoothly, and upon her return, the delightful news unfolded—she had passed on her first attempt. Congratulations, Colleen, on earning the freedom to navigate Buckstone and beyond!
