Emma – Morningside Edinburgh
Last year I had the pleasure of going out with Emma’s sister Becca now it was time for Emma to see if she could get to grips with Edinburgh’s roads and hopefully be on the road this year. We began driving lessons just as exams were taking place so at the time Emma had some free time between exams, we covered the basics and Emma progressed well. Within a lesson, we were able to drive through Morningside which was really impressive.
We managed to go out pretty regularly and sometimes we managed to go out a few times a week during the summer holidays. Emma was getting to practice also with her mum and dad between driving lessons which really helped with her progress.
As the summer holidays came to an end we were close to being ready to sit the driving test, with Emma successfully sitting and passing her theory test we moved on to book a driving test in Edinburgh. Emma was regularly looking for cancellations as the waiting list now runs into next year. After a few days of looking Emma was successful in finding a test in October.
When the day arrived it was a very wet and rainy Friday, we discussed for one last time before arriving at the test centre how the rain and wet roads might affect things. Then it was up to Emma to go and see if she could put it all together which she did. Well done Emma.
