Morningside learning to drive

Eira – Morningside Edinburgh

Currently working at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh Eira was looking forward to hopefully getting on the road. Eira lived in Morningside and did a lot of lab work in her job. Learning to drive would mean that she could come and go at times that suited her rather than relying on bus timetables.

Eira had already done some driving with her dad so we weren’t starting from the very beginning, after going out a few times we started to build on the skills she already had. Fine-tuning things and getting used to some of the features in the Edinburgh area. After carrying out a few mock driving tests Eira really got to know exactly the level that she was looking for and what was expected of her on the day of the driving test. We had a few things that together we worked hard to perfect and get ready.

We got to a level we both agreed that sitting the driving test should go to plan. With the test booked we carried out one last practice before the test and I was really confident that Eira was going to be fine. I was right to be confident Eira passed on her first attempt at the Currie test centre in Edinburgh. Well done.
